LindSling by Linds Handmade Patterns
With this purchase, you will receive a paper copy of this pattern sent to you in the mail with detailed pictures and step by step instructions on how to make your own sling. It includes full pattern pieces and will come in a resealable plastic bag with a vent hole and convenient hanging hole. There is even a full-length how-to video on our YouTube channel, Linds Handmade Designs, showing you how to make this bag from start to finish if you need any additional support.
This is an intermediate pattern in that it uses advanced bag making techniques that require the sewer to have a general familiarity with bag making. It requires accurate cutting/sewing and installing a curved zipper which can be challenging for new sewers.
Specs: approximately 7” wide by 4” deep and 13” tall. The shoulder strap is cut to 50” long and fully adjustable. It features 2 exterior side zipper pockets, with the main access zipper going along the wearer's back to provide an “anti-theft” wear style. This pattern is mostly "birthed" for a clean finished interior and pockets however it does use a small amount of binding on the final seam. (Don't let this scare you! The binding can hardly be seen as it is tucked up under the main zipper access. The pattern also includes a bonus section for an optional phone pocket as well! (Although most cellphones will easily fit in 1 of the 2 side zipper pockets if you choose to not make this add-on.)
